the RACE

The Valdobbiadene Pianezze Trail 12K is the major new addition for the 2026 edition: a competitive, timed race joining the 24K Trail and the historic Cronoscalata.
The race starts and finishes in the scenic Piazza Marconi in Valdobbiadene, following a 12 km course with 580 m of positive elevation gain, fast and intense, ideal both for runners approaching mountain races for the first time and for those aiming for performance.

As with the 24K Trail, the race begins with the ascent of Castella, an opening climb that immediately challenges athletes with the first meters of elevation gain, leading up to Agriturismo Castelet.

At this point, runners reach a junction where the 12K course turns left, joining the Altena forest road. This runnable “rolling” section offers a chance to regain rhythm or, for the more competitive athletes, to start pushing the pace.

The route then continues toward the slopes of Monte Perlo, following a technical and steady single track that completes the second part of the elevation gain.

After crossing the Perlo ridgeline, the course descends toward the Perine area, opening wide views over the Alano di Piave valley and the town of Valdobbiadene.
The descent continues through the vineyards to the characteristic village of Ron, where runners pass between stone houses and evocative, timeless scenery.

The final section features a short but demanding climb beneath San Floriano, perfect for those attempting a last push before the finish.
Once over the crest, the course drops quickly back toward the town center, leading athletes to cross the finish line once again in Piazza Marconi.

€20 – from May 21, 2026 to May 29, 2026

€15 – from January 7, 2026 to May 29, 2026 for athletes aged between 14 and 17 years on the date of the event (download the consent form to be completed)
